Context

INSPIRED works with people who have an idea with real potential but feel unclear or stuck — as the site itself puts it, “the founder journey is noisy and the wrong next step is expensive.”

That makes the site’s job unusual: the visitor is not shopping for a feature, they are deciding whether to trust a process with their own ambition. The design has to make an intangible service feel concrete.

What the design had to do

01

Name the problem precisely

Visitors recognise themselves in the problem before they will consider the offer.

02

Make the intangible concrete

“Advisory” means nothing until the stages, the format and the commitment are visible.

03

Qualify honestly

A “who this is for” that filters people out is what makes the enquiries worth having.

To fill in — the brief

Replace this with the brief in INSPIRED’s own words, plus the one constraint that shaped the most decisions — timeline, tech, compliance, an existing design system, or a stakeholder. This is the part a hiring manager reads first.

Process

There is no product to demo here — the site is the product. So the steps below are less about interface mechanics and more about building an argument a sceptical founder will follow to the end.

01

Understand

An intangible service with nothing to screenshot. The page has to carry the entire proposition on its own.

02

Research

Work out what the visitor is actually anxious about — in the brand’s own framing, that the wrong next step is expensive — rather than what the service wants to say.

03

Wireframe

Sequence the page as an argument: problem, recognition, method, who it’s for, then the ask. Order matters more than layout here.

04

Visual design

Restraint over hype. Coaching sites default to loud, and credibility in this category comes from looking calm.

05

Prototype

Test one thing only: after a single scroll, can a visitor say in their own words what they would actually get?

06

Handoff & support

Section blocks the team can recombine as new programmes and cohorts launch.

To fill in — what actually happened

The steps above describe what each stage had to solve on INSPIRED. What turns that into a case study is the evidence — add, for any two or three of them:

  • Who you spoke to, and the one finding that changed the design
  • A decision you made, and the option you rejected
  • Something that tested badly, and what you did about it
  • A wireframe or screen — before and after beats a finished shot

Outcome

For an advisory business the win is rarely volume — it is whether the enquiries arriving are the right ones.

01

Enquiry volume, and the share that are genuinely qualified

02

Application or enquiry form completion rate

03

How far down the page people get before converting

04

Time from first visit to enquiry — advisory decisions are rarely same-session

To fill in — results

Put real figures against the four above, or strike the ones you can’t evidence. If INSPIRED never shared numbers, a single sentence from the client about what changed is still worth more than a blank. Right now no project on the site states an outcome, and that is the biggest gap in the portfolio.
